Families are welcome to stay as long as they want and explore on their own after the tour.

• Lunch before the tour and discard.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Park, follow the elevator to gather at the lower tram to check in with HST Jill Schalesky at 10:30 am. They will check us in, validate our parking, and allow us to use the restrooms. Then, we will take the tram to the top of the hill to have lunch. The docent will take us on the tour promptly at 11:45 am.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? Children must be in TK-12th grade to attend. Only one chaperone per family is allowed on the tour. Younger students can enjoy the gardens and coffee cart with a chaperone while older students are on the tour. Younger children and extra chaperones will not be considered part of this field trip.

Is there on-site parking available? Follow the signs to the Getty Center parking. Pull a ticket upon entrance. Park. Follow the signs and elevator to the meeting location on the tram level. Bring the ticket for validation, or you will be charged $25 upon exit.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Yes. Bring disposable lunches and water. Small cafe available. No beverages or food allowed on the tour. Only disposable water is allowed.
