Back-to-School Scrabble Party- Heartland Charter School

Registration window July 10, 10:00 a.m. -July 17, 7:00 p.m.

Come join us to celebrate the start of the 2025-2026 school year with a few rounds of Scrabble. Dust off your spelling skills while catching up with old friends and making new ones. All levels of word play are welcome!

*There will be one set of ASL titles available for play. Please email a seat reservation the night before the event.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Check-in at the party room doorway with Ms. Van Patten at 1 PM. Look for a tall lady holding a clipboard and wearing a Heartland shirt.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? Students must be in 3rd- 12th grade to participate. Younger siblings may attend; however, they will need to remain with their parent outside of the reserved game area, where the parent chaperone can also view and monitor participating student(s). Only one registered student/family chaperone is allowed inside the reserved area due to fire code limits.

Is there on-site parking available? Free parking in the lot and on the nearby side street.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? No outside food or drink. Families are welcome to purchase out of pocket food & drink to eat outside the reserved area. Registered students will be provided with a slice of pizza and a drink. Please email special dietary pizza topping requests by noon the day before the event. This is a GLUTEN location.

*This location uses several common allergens, including GLUTEN, EGG, CORN, and DAIRY.
