Santa Maria In-N-Out Tour- Heartland Charter School

Registration window April 22, 10:00 a.m. -April 25, 7:00 p.m.

Give your students a special behind‑the‑scenes opportunity to experience the history and culture surrounding In‑N‑Out Burger®. Our class field trip program, scheduled in the morning before our stores open, is a fun, educational, and popular experience for first through eighth-grade students.

Students will learn about the history of In‑N‑Out Burger, from the importance of fresh ingredients to the iconic brand of today. We’ll explore everything that goes into cooking up our fresh burgers and fries to order. Students will be fed a complimentary In-N-Out meal at the end of the tour.

*This program is available for 1st - 8th grade only. No Exceptions.

Only 5 chaperones total are allowed on the tour. Other chaperones will need to wait in the dining area for the tour to be completed.

*Tour participants will need to wear closed-toe shoes. All participants will receive a complimentary meal after the tour.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Please check in at 8:45 a.m. at the front entrance with HST Shannon Whitehair, who will be wearing a Heartland t-shirt and nametag.

Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? Students need to be in 1st -8th grade in order to attend. Younger and older siblings may not attend. 1 chaperone per family. Due to limited space, In-N-Out only permits 5 chaperones to participate in the actual tour. Those spots will be assigned to the first 5 chaperones who secure a Participating Chaperone ticket in Ticketbud. All remaining chaperones will be considered Non-Participating Chaperones and will need to wait in the restaurant seating lobby area while the students tour the kitchen. Any students needing assistance during the tour will be escorted out to their chaperone in the lobby. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud.

Is there on-site parking available? Parking is free.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Yes - Complimentary meals are for the students and the 5 chaperones participating. Additional parents are welcomed to wait in the Dining Room and may purchase a meal at the conclusion of the tour.
