South SLO County Back to School Event- Heartland Charter School

Registration window August 1, 10:00 a.m. -August 14, 7:00 p.m.

Join us for a day of fun and learning at Dinosaur Caves Park. The Heartland Staff is looking forward to:

● Reconnecting with families

● Enjoying a Field Day together

● Engaging with local Vendors

● Browsing through a variety of

curriculum that will be shared

● Lending out FREE items from the HL Lending Library for a full year of use.

● Taking school pictures with a

professional photographer (optional)

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please indicate this when you register your student and let the field trip host know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Please stop by one of the Welcome Tables on the grass to check in and receive directions when you arrive.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? All ages are welcome.

Is there on-site parking available? Parking is free in the parking lot and along the street that borders the park.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Yes.
