Registration window November 13, 10:00 a.m. -November 20, 7:00 p.m.

Students will view petroglyphs on a tour of caves and trails used by the local Native American tribe, the Wukchumni, for thousands of years. The tour is led by Laura and Bill Manser of the Southern Sierra Archeological Society. Students will learn about the tribe, the likely meanings and methods of making the petroglyphs, local Native American diet, and site history.

Unfortunately infants and children under 12 are not allowed due to liability reasons.

Bring water, sunscreen, snacks, and wear shoes for hiking. Plan to explore moderately challenging terrain such as caves and trails. There is a porta potty available but no potable water.
