FRIENDLY FEUDS w/ Imani Denae

Hold onto your butts, City of Roses, because everybody’s favorite, laugh-filled evening of comedy, trivia, and goofy fun, FRIENDLY FEUDS w/ Imani Denae, is making a triumphant return to Funhouse Lounge! This one and only, one of a kind knockoff game show is back and ready to party with an evening positively packed full of community sourced questions, friendly competition, and a whole lotta stupid jokes.

Imani Denae, recently named one of Portland’s Funniest People by Willamette Week, will once again stand in for the classic TV host, guiding both local standup comics and audience members through a series of side-splittingly classic challenges. 

“I grew up watching game shows,” Imani says, “and Steve Harvey was always my number one favorite host, not to mention my idol as a standup comic.” As such, audience members can expect a “classic tribute to the original, but with plenty of local flair and silly, stupid fun. Not to mention, we gathered all the data for the game ourselves, so this will definitely be a Portland experience, if you know what I mean.” Whether you love classic television or local comedy, this is the show for you!

The games officially begin at 7pm at Funhouse Lounge, located at 2432 Southeast 11th Ave, but doors will open as early as 6pm. Come early and grab a snack or a drink at the bar, snag the perfect seat, and enjoy a truly, uniquely Portland comedy experience.
