Join us for Heartland’s Back to School Park Day!

Kick off the school year with excitement and school spirit at Atascadero Lake Park on Thursday, August 21st, 2025, from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Families are invited to enjoy games, crafts, and meet local vendor —plus, shop Heartland Discounted Materials! Don’t miss a special live presentation by Zoo to You, featuring an exciting, up-close animal experience for the whole family. It’s the perfect way to start the year and connect with the Heartland community. We can’t wait to see you there!

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please indicate this when you register your student and let the field trip host know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Check-in begins at 9:45. There will be a table by the parking lot with Heartland signage on it.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? All ages are welcome.

Is there on-site parking available? Parking is free. Families should park in the parking lot located at 9100 Morro Rd, Atascadero, CA 93422

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Yes.
