Step back in time at the Paso Robles Pioneer Museum, where history comes to life in a fun, engaging, and educational way for all ages. Located in the heart of Paso Robles, CA, this museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the area's rich heritage, from its early days as a settlement to the vibrant community it is today.

Students will love exploring the museum’s exhibits, which include historical artifacts, antique farm equipment, period-specific clothing, vintage vehicles and buildings, and even a restored schoolhouse. Learn about the pioneers who shaped this region and how they lived, worked, and overcame challenges through interactive exhibits. It’s a perfect way for young minds to grasp the importance of history while having fun in a safe and welcoming environment.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE! Donations made directly to the museum on the day of the field trip are appreciated.

What are the check-in procedures? Meet at 9 am in front of the museum.

Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? Students must be in TK-12th grade. Younger siblings are not allowed to attend. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud.

Is there on-site parking available? Parking is free. There is a parking lot in front of the museum. There is also street parking.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? No eating or drinking inside the museum.
