We are excited to welcome families for a spring showcase to put their best work on display. Families will have the opportunity to showcase their student(s) projects from the school year, and present their efforts for other Heartland families. This will be an open house for all families to attend and view. It is a great opportunity to bring your grandparents and show off some of the amazing and creative work our students have accomplished this year!
Participating families will be sent a survey at a later date to fill out to provide information on what you will include on your reserved table. There is a limit to ½ table (4 ft x 2.5 ft area) per family. Families will be provided with half a rectangle table to decorate and complete with their student’s projects. Please do not register for more than one table space. Please make sure to sign up each student in your family who will be presenting in your Ticketbud listing.
Some projects might include but are not limited to book reports, science experiments/posters, art projects, history projects, models, and more!
Please, no loose glitter, helium balloons, rice, beans, or confetti allowed in the building.
Due to capacity policies, we will offer a sign-up closer to the date for those only wishing to view the presentations and not host a table.
Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.
**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**
May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!
What are the check-in procedures? Come in through the main entrance of the building and check in with a Heartland staff member. They will direct you to your assigned table. Families should arrive at 4:15 to set up. Showcase Presentations will be 5:00-6:00 pm. Clean Up 6:00-6:30
Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? All ages are welcome, but only students in Tk-12th grade can present. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud.
Is there on-site parking available? There is a large parking lot next to the Rasmussen Senior Center.
