Dewar's Candy Shop-Heartland Charter School

Dewar's Candy Shop will delight groups of all ages! There is science in candy making.

Come and see their daily production of their World Famous Taffy Chews and Ice Cream. This tour includes an ice cream at the end of the tour.

Ticket cost:

• Children ages 0-1 FREE (Will not receive ice cream)
• Students ages 2+ $7.50
• Chaperones $7.50

*The price for tickets paid with a credit card will be slightly higher due to the Ticketbud processing fee.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please let the field trip host know. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

Refunds will not be given for any reason. As a courtesy, if you are sick or unable to attend a field trip, please contact the teacher, who planned the event to let them know so they do not wait at the venue for you.* Families who are no-shows may lose access to future field trips.*

May I pay using my student's planning amount? No, this tour includes ice cream, so planning amounts may not be used. Tickets must be purchased with a credit card.

What are the check-in procedures? Check in at 10 a.m. in the front of the shop.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Only one chaperone per family is allowed due to limited space. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud.

Is there on-site parking available? Yes.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? No.
