San Simeon Elephant Seal Guided Tour-Heartland Charter School

Registration window December 10, 10:00 a.m. -December 16, 7:00 p.m.

Join us to observe and learn from the docents about the habits and lifestyles of elephant seals. January is usually birthing season so we may get lucky and see lots of baby seals!

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Please meet in the south end of the parking lot at 10:50.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud

Is there on-site parking available? The visitor parking area is large. Please plan on meeting us at the south end of the parking lot. BATHROOMS – There are no bathrooms at the rookery. Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Yes but please be mindful of wildlife and dispose of your trash.
