Event Description
Join us at Culture C-Street to sip coffee, make friends, & explore the topic of owning our story.
"When we deny our story, it defines us. When we own our story, we can write a brave new ending." - Brene' Brown
After taking a few months off, we are excited to kick off 2017 with a topic we believe to be oh-so-important: owning your story. Far too often, we walk through life denying our past and present circumstances and choices. We hustle for our worth, ignore our realities, or blame others for our hurts. These are coping mechanisms we all use to manage stress in our lives that often go unchecked and unnoticed. Without learning how to OWN our stories- including the messiness that lies within them and within us- we cannot grow and move past them.
