Did you know the Ben Franklin grounds are a designated wildlife habitat and urban garden district? With 207 plots and 180 gardeners per year on average, the garden is an incredibly peaceful, five-acre oasis just minutes from downtown Cleveland and the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. For three decades, the Old Brooklyn Community Development Corporation has helped develop and maintain the remarkable, eco-friendly space. There's no better way to spend a fall afternoon than in this crown jewel of the South Hills neighborhood.
