MJU - Our Biggest Event Yet
June 20, 21, 22 and 23 - 2016
Four totally different days, each one bringing Michael's music to life like never before.
My name is Brad Sundberg. Just over three years ago I hosted my first "In The Studio With MJ" seminar in Paris, France. During that event I introduced a studio full of guests to the music, the recording style, the work ethic, the creativity, the humor and persona of a friend of mine. His name is Michael Jackson.
Since that weekend the seminars have grown, added and changed segments, brought in special guests, and traveled to many cities all over the globe. Next June we will be coming back to LA for a one-of-a-kind event spanning over four days. Our guests will hear from the engineers, producers and song-writers who were with Michael in the studio and on tour.
Tentative Schedule:
Day 1 - In The Studio With MJ - the full seminar. A blend of new stories and segments mixed with some of Brad's favorites.
Day 2 - The Early Years. Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad. Hear from some of the engineers, songwriters and production team that brought these projects to life.
Day 3 - On Tour and the Short Films With Michael. Learn about life on the road from some of the musicians and team members who brought the Bad, Dangerous and HIStory tours to cities all over the planet, as well as meeting Brick Price - Michael's visual effects master who worked closely with Michael on many of the films.
Day 4 - The Later Years. Dangerous. HIStory. Invincible. BOTDF, This Is It. This portion of Michael's career was amazing, as our guests will share.
The Guest List
In The Studio With MJ will give our guests a once-in-a-lifetime chance to hear from and meet some of the team of professionals involved in Michael's projects. Our guest current guest list includes: Brad Buxer, Brian Vibberts, Jerry Hey, Michael Prince, Rob Hoffman, Matt Forger, Ed Churney and Brick Price. Some you know, some you don't. You will not be disappointed. This list is subject to change.

About Brad Sundberg
Brad had the opportunity to work closely in the studio and at Neverland Valley Ranch with Michael Jackson. He was Michael's technical director and one of the engineers on four studio albums including "Bad", "Dangerous", "HIStory", and "Blood On The Dancefloor." (Michael even gave Brad the nickname "Really, Really Brad".) These mammoth projects (including production, tour-prep and countless remixes) took upwards of 16 months each. You will see and hear what it was like to be in the studio with Michael and the team of engineers and producers who created these songs, through a carefully crafted timeline of music, video and behind-the-scenes info. From "Captain Eo" to "Man In The Mirror" to "Smile", Brad was there, and you will hear about the production process.
Brad is generous with his insights and knowledge, and there will be time for questions. If you are a fan of Michael's music, or are curious about how those albums were recorded and the staggering amount of tapes, tracks and time invested, you will want to attend "In The Studio With MJ."
