Burlington Rose Nursery Tour-Heartland Charter School

Registration window September 8, 10:00 a.m. -September 15, 7:00 p.m.

Join us on a tour of one of the best rose nurseries in the country! We will learn about the different sizes, blooms, and colors of roses. Students will learn and see a demonstration about how to propagate roses through cuttings. The nursery collects and preserves rare and hard-to-find roses. There are some resident horses that students can learn how to feed.

There are two time slots to choose from.

• 10:00-11:00
• 11:00-12:00

Choose the ticket with the time slot that works best for your family.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Check in with Maria Banuelos. I will be wearing a Heartland t-shirt and have a clip board.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? This field trip is aimed at students who are 5-17 years old. Students must be enrolled to attend. Younger siblings are not allowed. Only one chaperone per family due to limited space.

Is there on-site parking available? Parking lot is available at the front of the nursery

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? No.

You must have a student enrolled in Heartland Charter School in order to attend this event. We verify enrollment for all attendees.
