Organizational Psychologist, Dr. Melinda Sue Norin, will present "The Psychological and Communication Factors Impacting ISO 9001 Success."  In 2017, she introduced the "Value of Knowledge Management" including recognizing, capturing and transferring organizational knowledge.  This month's presentation will create an awareness of the profound human elements affecting employee performance, team challenges, and leadership issues.  You may never look at your co-workers the same after we peel back the psychological layers affecting job performance.

Dr. Melinda Sue Norin draws on nearly 40 years of experience from assisting Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, government entities, associations and non-profit organizations.  Some of the 6,000 representatives trained or assisted by Dr Norin include the City of Los Angeles, City of Santa Monica, SCAQMD, IRS, FBI, Counties of Ventura, San Bernardino & Los Angeles, USC+LAC County Medical Center, Home Depot, DWP, LAUSD, Latham & Watkins, YMCA, Google, USPS, Target, retail outlets, hotels, aerospace, restaurants, banks, insurance organizations, media outlets and technology innovators.  

 Dr. Norin has developed marketing strategies, tracking programs and government compliance forms, policies and procedures, introduced motivational tools, taught public speaking techniques, and guided organizations in resolving diverse challenges.  For three consecutive years, Dr. Norin was named "Employee of the Year" while working with Commuter Transportation Services, now known as Metro. Dr. Norin earned a "Diamond Award" after consulting the LA County+USC Medical Center. The Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Supervisors surprised her with a 'Certificate of Recognition" during a televised Board Meeting after creating a marketing program for their 300 schools.

Dr. Norin is an active Board Member for the Journalism Alumni Association for California State University, Northridge.  She is also Marketing Director for the Book Publicists of Southern California and enjoys being an Ambassador for Maria Shriver's The Sunday Paper blog and best-selling publication, "I've Been Thinking."
