Join us for AB Samahan’s 41st Annual Filipino-American Culture Night “Lavender Letters” on Friday April 17th & Sunday April 19th, 2026!
For the last 41 years, our organization has come together to produce our largest event, Filipino-American Culture Night (FACN). Andrès Bonifacio Samahan’s 41st annual FACN is titled “Lavender Letters,” Lavender Letters follows Caidenn Kane, a closeted gay teenager, as he meets his openly lesbian aunt, Maring, for the first time. Through their growing relationship, Caidenn gradually recognizes that he does not need to maintain a heterosexual relationship with Raelyn in order to suppress or conceal his true feelings for his best friend, Kristan. However, his journey toward self-acceptance becomes increasingly complicated when the rest of his conservative family learns of his sexuality. Over the years, FACN has successfully provided a culturally and morally enriching experience for students, faculty, and community members.
We are so excited to showcase all the hard work and talent of our cast and crew and we appreciate all your support throughout the season.
