Mosaics Workshop with Wanda

 Join long-time Repurpose Project artist Wanda for a two-evening workshop on how to create mosaics out of broken stained glass pieces! Night 1 will consist of creating the piece, night 2 will be grouting and cleaning. Please follow this event to be notified when tickets are posted; they will open one week prior to the event start and are required for attendance.

 Workshop costs $60 which covers both nights. Workshop cost covers teachers, materials, staff, the space, and promotion of the event. Class size is limited. To reserve your space you must purchase a ticket on this site and pay in full. … In the past, the spots have filled quickly. Tickets are non-refundable.

“Simply Passionate To Create” best describes Wanda’s love for creating one-of-a-kind mosaic and fiber art pieces. She is a self-taught artist, originally from the D.C. area. After over 20 years as a video production editor and photographer, she discovered her love for creating “functional art.” Being a part of the Repurpose Project since 2010, she’s had the opportunity to share her love for recycling and to teach her unique tyle of art. Currently she has two commissioned art pieces at the new Butler’s Town Center (Pink Narcissus and Narcissus).
