TEDxPonceyHighland presents: BUILDING BLOCKS 2021

Welcome to this year's TEDxPonceyHighland event, Building Blocks 2021! (please read everything below :)

The theme for our 2021 event is “Building Blocks”! Especially with the outrage and calls for reform against systemic violence these past 18 months as well as the repercussions and inequities highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic, we believe it is more important than ever to provide a space for collaboration. With “Building Blocks,” our goal is to push forward conversations about how we need to deconstruct and rebuild the systems that have failed our communities.

This year, we are thrilled to be returning to and collaborating with the hosts of our inaugural event, Plaza Theatre Atlanta! We have an exciting panel of speakers lined up for our theme that will be announced in future social media posts and on our website as the event nears. In consideration of everyone's safety, we will be asking for proof of full vaccination two weeks prior to the event from all participants and will be adhering to masking and social distancing for our indoor event.

TICKET POLICY: Instead of tiered ticketing this year, we will be doing group pricing so as to maintain physical distancing standards encouraged by the CDC. Tickets can be purchased in groups of 2, 3, or 4 as well as single tickets.

COVID GUIDELINES:

• All attendees will be required to show PROOF of vaccination (with card) at least two weeks prior to the day of the event. This means that your last shot of Pfizer or of the Moderna Vaccine or your first shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine must have occurred no later than June 13.
• Additionally, all attendees will be required to wear masks while indoors.
