Description: Join former homeschooling parent Ginger Langdon-Lassagne for a early-elementary science course on bird observation and identification, appropriate for ages 6-9. We will learn to use binoculars, identify field marks, and listen to bird sounds to help us name what we see. After making observations at the birdfeeders, we will take a 1⁄2 mile walk on the paved, flat trail at McClellan (wheelchair/stroller friendly).
Notes: Students must be accompanied by an adult, other ages welcome, space limited to 10 students. Contact binzer@me.com with questions.
