Frontline Arts presents a Book Arts Workshop!
Thursdays: Nov 5, Nov 12, and Nov 19 from 3 to 6 p.m.
JOIN US for this 3-session workshop in the book arts! Over three 3-hour sessions, you will: make paper from cloth rag; use this paper to make some zines; and finally learn how to bind books.
Free! Limited to 8 participants. Registration required.
SESSION 1, November 5: Papermaking In this session we will be making paper! The paper that you make during this session will be used in the following two sessions.
SESSION 2, November 12: Zines In this session we will explore the creation of simple fold-only 8-page mini-zines to saddle-stitch sewn pamphlets.
SESSION 3, November 19: Bookbinding In this session we will further explore the book/archive possibilities of stab or Japanese binding.
