SEM 2 Heartschool 8:30 AM Intro to Algebra and Geometry 1B Grades 6-12

This is for the second-semester Heartschool course beginning Tuesday, January 14th.

In this Algebra/ Geometry 1B second semster skills class, we will be reviewing state standards at an easy pace. We will learn simple and effective strategies to master basic skills and extend your knowledge in Algebra 1 and Geometry. The focus will be on Equation solving, linear equations, systems of equalities, introduction to functions, polynomials, expressions, exponents, and radicals. There will be daily homework using IXL (offered through the school, I can send out logins). And I will be sending out Daily emails. New Units Offered: Unit 1: Concepts REVIEW, Unit 2: Two Variable Equations REVIEW, Unit 3: Absolute Value Equations REVIEW , Unit 4: Two Variable Inequalities, Unit 5: Exponents & Radicals, Unit 6: More Radicals, Unit 7: Pythagorean Theorem, Distance Formula, Mid-points, Unit 8: Polynomials+, Unit 9: More Exponents & Factoring, Unit 10: Parallel & Perpendicular Lines and Unit 11: Systems of Equations+.
