Black-Crowned Night Heron Birding Tour in Thames Street Park

Spend the morning with the black-crowned night herons of Thames Street Park. Bring your binoculars or borrow one of ours to watch these birds raise their young in the park.

We will be joined by Phoenix Wildlife Center and Baltimore Bird Club. Learn about when and how to rescue heron chicks that have fallen from their nests from Phoenix Wildlife Center. They will discuss the rehabilitation and release process for the black-crowned night herons. If you enjoy the tour, Baltimore Bird Club will share additional urban birding opportunities you can get involved in around the Baltimore area.

We will be providing light refreshments and coffee.
