Beginner Acrylic Sculpting

Hello everyone! Sabrina here.

Thank you for your interest in taking this beginner class. With 10+ years experience in nail sculpting and 16 years as a nail technician, I have developed many techniques to make it easier on beginner students to learn how to properly sculpt acrylic nails. After taking this class you will have a full understanding of what it takes to build a strong perfectly sculpted acrylic nail whether it is a simple color or acrylic artwork. This class has your back! No matter what level you are, this class will be perfect for you.

This class will be a small group class of only 6 students for a more intimate setting so that I can provide a more 1 on 1 experience to each student.

We will cover all of the following:

• Natural nail prep to prevent lifting of product 
• Cuticle prep with e-file and cuticle nipper
• Overview of various natural nail shapes to ensure proper nail form application
• Customizing nail forms to fit each natural nail shape for every client
• Custom nail shapes such as almond, stiletto, coffin, square
• Achieving a beautiful consistent C-Curve and Apex
• Acrylic application to minimize filing and gain speed
• Acrylic ombre and marble design
• Glitter and nail art encapsulation
• E-filing & hand filing technique
• Sealing the acrylic around cuticle area to avoid lifting of product
• Keeping nails healthy and free of rings of fire 

You will need to bring the following:

• Acrylic brush (preferably size 10 or 12)
• Dehydrator and Primer
• E-file and bits
• Gel curing lamp
• Small scissors
• Cuticle pusher and nipper
• Top coat
• Base coat with sticky layer
• Practice hand or you may use your own hand for practice or another student if they wish.
