What do successful leaders in public administration do? They have vision for policies, implementation, and evaluation. They take charge, lead with intent, and overcome challenges. This session will help you turn your vision into action plans that help you work toward the common good.
Presenter:
Anisa Hajimumin is the Assistant Commissioner for Immigrants and Refugee Affairs at Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development. Her office oversees the overall immigrant and refugee affairs in the State addressing challenges they face including language access, employment and training, workforce development, and business startup/technical development. She is also responsible for creating inter-agency coordination and a bridge building between immigrants/refugees and state leaders/legislators.
