Originally from Lithuania and shaped by Italy’s underground tekno and psytrance scenes, Maiko has been a key figure in fostering darkpsy, hitech, and experimental sounds. As a founding member of Little Dark Family, he helped shape Italy’s psychedelic movement, hosting legendary artists and crafting immersive events.

Now based in Barcelona, Maiko’s dynamic sets range from classic darkpsy to cutting-edge psycore and high-energy hitech, keeping dancefloors in a state of euphoria. His global presence spans top festivals like Universo Paralello, Ozora, Masters of Puppets, Psy-Fi, and many more.

LabRat is the result of a scientific accident gone psychedelic. Deep within a secret Danish lab, Dr. Patrick Jensen was conducting classified experiments on rodents when an unexpected twist altered his path forever—he accidentally inhaled the very serum he was developing. In that moment, a new psyche emerged, flooding his mind with wild, untamed musical ideas. LabRat was born.

His sound is a mind-bending fusion of funky, playful, and unpredictable frequencies, yet hard-hitting enough to make you question reality itself.
