Expanding Your Leadership Story

Research is clear that successful leaders have emotional intelligence (EI) as well as technical competence. Developing EI is an ongoing pursuit of a set of traits including self-awareness, empathy and relationship management. In this session you will learn how the stories we tell ourselves impact our EI, and how being curious about our stories and intentionally expanding them can help us be more successful at creating positive impacts for our organizations, managing conflict, and building satisfying careers. This session will involve a series of brief presentations, each one followed by a reflective practice and then group sharing where participants collaborate to share and support one another in creating larger leadership stories.
