Saturday, April 26, 2025
12:00 PM - 02:00 PM
Kent State University at Stark
Kent State Stark Science & Nursing Building Auditorium (Room 101)
Join PBS Western Reserve and Kent State Stark for a special screening of By Nature's Design, followed by a Q&A session where you can engage with experts and learn more about the importance of wetlands. After the discussion, we will take a walking tour (optional, but registration is required) of the Kent State Stark wetlands to explore these vital ecosystems firsthand.
By Nature’s Design is a docuseries that highlights a different area of native wildlife in our region each season. The first season will focus on wetlands. The first episode will be an overall look at the wetlands in Ohio, their impact on the ecosystem, some dangers to the wetlands, and what the future of Ohio wetlands looks like.
This event is free and open to all, but registration is required. It is recommended for participants aged 16 and older. Once registered, you will receive instructions and directions from Kent State Stark or PBS Western Reserve.
