Calling all high school students! Our field trip to Allegretto Vineyard Resort in Paso Robles will invite students to explore art, architecture, culture, and personal meaning. High school students will tour the resort’s extensive collection of art and artifacts, which draws from many centuries, cultures, faiths, and wisdom traditions around the world. We will also learn about owner Douglas Ayres and the spiritual journey that inspired him to create Allegretto as a place of beauty, harmony, reflection, and connection. Through the artwork, sculptures, architecture, and peaceful spaces throughout the property, students will consider how artists and designers can use their work to express ideas about identity, culture, spirituality, and the human experience.

This is a drop-off event. Heartland HSTs will be chaperoning. Parents must complete a drop-off waiver.

Your student may only be dropped off if this waiver is completed.

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE! (A Procurify order is not required.)

What are the check-in procedures? We will meet at the front entrance to Allegretto.

Who may attend? Students must be in 9th-12th grade to attend.

Is there on-site parking available? Ample parking on site. Do not use valet parking.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Water bottles only.

Please review our Field Trip Attendance Policy!

To ensure we can provide these experiences to as many students as possible, please review our commitment guidelines before registering.

Tickets are Non-Transferable

  • Non-Transferable: Tickets are tied specifically to the student account used at registration. They cannot be sold, gifted, or transferred to another family.

The "No-Show" Policy

  • Loss of Access: Families who are frequent "no-shows" may lose access to future field trip registrations. We track attendance to ensure that limited spots go to families who are committed to attending.

Professional Courtesy: If an emergency arises and you truly cannot make it:

  • Notify the Lead Teacher: Please email the organizing teacher as soon as possible.
  • Why it matters: This prevents the entire group from waiting at the venue entrance for your arrival, keeping the educational program on schedule for everyone else.

Our Goal: By only registering for events you are fully committed to, you help us keep our field trip program sustainable and open to all students.
