Directions: Take Hwy 101 or Hwy 85 to the Bernal Rd exit. Continue on Bernal past the golf course and uphill, turning left at the entrance. Meet at Pueblo Picnic Area near bathrooms.
Highlights: We'll explore the upper grassland area and rocky hillsides of the Santa Teresa Hills and look for Wester Kingbirds, Ash-throated Flycatchers, and Lark Sparrows.
Difficulty: 2-mile walk over possibly muddy/uneven trails.
Notes: Use county pass or purchase $6 day pass at first parking lot. Beginners welcome! Rain cancels, kids ages 10+ are welcome
