Joplin Wasteland D-Day- Tales of The Lost Treasure

Joplin Wasteland is proud to present our next event, Tales of The Lost Treasure. In the last event court hearings were had for both Ace the Mob Boss and Doc, the doctor of the town, the Blood Hands leadership went up in a blaze of fire and the Lost Town gained a new mayor. Ace was found guilty of selling weapons to the Greenwood Thieves and defacing the Constitution of the United States. His punishment was to learn how to read, while he rot in jail with his prized collection of soda drinks. Doc was found guilty of murder and using said peoples parts to sell to crazed wastelanders. His punishment was death, though the Sliver Tongued Roswell changed the hearts and minds of the people to instead to remove him from the town doctor and to humiliate doc with radioactive silly string. The Blood Hands leader chose to burn himself alive with a fire grenade before his set trial after being caught by the town guard. Also, in a landslide of a victory, Rooster the Scraper won the last mayor election. As such, he has started to make a few good choices to turn the town into a somewhat safe place to do trade and live. Now, new and old groups make their way through the lost lands seeking glory, caps, or adventure. To add to that, old maps and journals have started to appear in and around the Lost Town, which tells of a great treasure of old. Will this treasure help change the Lost Lands, or is it just rumors? Who will you join? The Blood Hands with little or new leadership have spilt into two groups, the Bloods and the Hands. They both fight to prove that they are the best choice for the Lord of Blood to pick as his servants when he returns. As such, the airfield is spilt down the middle, and a cold war between the two groups has formed. Monsters and entities roam the south lands. Do you wish to be one of theses beasts of terror? Are you a Knight of Nine who is charged with helping the innocent and to build up the lost order of Knight's? Then again, rumor has it the Mayor of Wata-Pa is on his way to lay claim as the new mayor of this great town. Will you help him? Or maybe you are just a simple townspeople wanting all these wastelanders to get off your lawn. You could be a new town's person looking to open up a shop in town or help a shopkeeper. If you're looking to make some caps and explore the lost lands, you could join the Exit Four Trade Guild as a hired gun or as a vendor. Snip-Snap is back in the Lands and has hired Doc. Word is Snip- Snap pays well, plus they have a doctor with them, a backstabbing doctor, but hey, pay him well, and he will make sure you don't die. Word is a new group that has made its way to the Lost Lands, The Puddle Pirates. A group of wasteland pirates after loot, song, food, and rumor has it they are on a grand treasure hunt. Or maybe you plan on being a wanderer, a drifter out to journey, and find your own path in the Lost Lands? Whatever you do we will see you at “Tales of The Lost Treasure”.

Tickets Prices- 35$ Game charge fee preorder. 40$ gate charge fee. Time events- April 8th 2023 9am to 1030am sign in/ faction briefing,1030am to 11am costume contest. 11am to 1130 check in / rules briefing, 1130am to 12pm player to field movement. 12pm game on. 630pm Item turn in at town and end game brief.

Please read the rules as it outlines the safely guild lines as this is a larp event with airsoft guns. For DDay ANSI Z87+ approved full seal eye protection and players under the age of 18 must also have full face protection. In this event, all player ammo will be proved at the event. The player may bring out their own ammo to give to an ammo vendor. All ammo used must be biodegradable airsoft ammo. When a player joins a said Npc ran group they will be marked with their colors and will now spawn at said group's spawn, until they quit that group. To quit a group you first must speak with the group's said Npc leader. Note if a player is apart of a Npc ran group they can not use the Wanderer spawn. For this event players that preorder their tickets will have first choice of what group they wish to join up at pre-order.
