Red Rock Canyon Excursion-Heartland Charter School

Registration window January 13, 10:00 a.m. -January 20, 7:00 p.m.

Explore Red Rock Canyon. We will learn about the geological and historical features of this fabulous state park. Afterward, we will hike one of the many trails the park has to offer. Length of trail will be determined based on preferences of the students who plan to participate.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

**To ensure the health and safety of all attendees, please do not attend a field trip or event if you, your student(s), or anyone in your household is ill or showing possible signs of illness.**

May I pay using my funds? This event is FREE!

What are the check-in procedures? Please meet Mr. Dobrenen at the Visitor’ Center at 10:00. We will begin our hike around 10:30.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud

Is there on-site parking available? $6 parking out of pocket.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Food allowed, please dispose of your trash. Leave no trace.
