Mike Strickland Student Outreach Concert-Heartland Charter School

This student outreach concert features an artist who not only displays his talents, but interacts with students in the process!

Pianist/Composer, MIKE STRICKLAND presents a fun-filled show of great piano music with styles of Jazz, Popular, Blues, Boogie-Woogie, Broadway, and Classical favorites. He is known for his exceptional musicianship and arrangements and his ability to connect with the audience.

Mike is an international recording artist with 23 CDs and has had his music featured in films and TV. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, he now makes his home in McMinnville, Oregon.

Formed in 1948, the North SLO County Concert Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) association, whose mission is to foster an appreciation of the musical arts by presenting concerts by national and international artists not otherwise available in our community.

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please indicate this when you register your student and let the field trip host know once you complete your registration.

What are the check-in procedures? Please arrive by 9:50 am in the lobby of Trinity Lutheran Church. Check in with the HST there. She will be wearing a Heartland shirt.

Does this trip have any height, weight, and/or age restrictions? All ages are welcome. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud.

Is there on-site parking available? Please park in the spaces provided right next to the church. Parking is free

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? No.
