Summer 2022, RW Training - Aug 6-8

Join us for our summer 2022 River Watch Training. This year we return to CSU Mountain Campus, located in Bellvue, Colorado.

COST: Registration costs are different if you are a new group or an existing group. All registrations will be required to pay a $50 deposit at the time of registration. New organizations seeking to be a part of River Watch of Colorado are requested to pay a one-time $275 fee. The fee will cover the cost of one participant to attend this training and to help subsidize the cost of the equipment you will receive (valued at over $2500), as well as curriculum and program support. All other participants from new or existing groups are expected to pay for each individual’s training cost of $175 per person. Meals and lodging are included in the $175. The deadline to register for this event is July 1st, 2022. Registration after this date will be $325 per new group and $200 per additional person or returning volunteer. Scholarships are available (on a first come, first served) but limited, prior to the deadline.

Additionally, Continuing Education Units (CEU) are available through Colorado School of Mines. You can earn up to four CEU’s for attending a River Watch training and implementing the program. Detailed information on the training will be provided with your training confirmation packet.

TIME: Training will begin at 12:00 pm on August 6th and end at 5:00 pm on August 8th.
