Drag Church: REBIRTH
Saturday, April 04, 2026
07:30 PM - 09:30 PM
Emmaus Table @ 7400 Woodlawn
7400 Woodlawn Avenue Northeast, Seattle, WA, USA
After a sold-out winter show, Drag Church returns on April 4, 2026 with REBIRTH. This non-religious, family-friendly drag revival blends queer art, activism, and radical joy inside of a beautiful church sanctuary.
REBIRTH reminds us that…
- Transformation doesn’t always arrive gently.
- Sometimes it feels like unraveling.
- Like the necessary crumbling of what can no longer hold us.
This event is rooted in the belief that new beginnings require release. Release of old stories, structures, and ways of being that no longer serve us. Through electrifying drag performances, a guided meditation, and intentional communal participation, REBIRTH invites us to envision something brand new and nurture the seeds of liberation and co-create the world we wish existed.
A curated lineup of unforgettable artists: Bobbi Jo Blessings, Brandi Marx, Kara Sutra, & Jezebel Johnson will deliver performances that guide the evening through moments of rejoice, rejuvenescence, and release.
This spiritually inclusive, family-friendly gathering also features a fundraiser supporting Lambert House and The Little Wildflowers Co-op Preschool, investing directly in LGBTQ+ youth in our region.
Drag Church is a spiritually inclusive, family-friendly community arts experience that follows the rhythm of a traditional church service but with a queer twist. Our services reimagine the divine with drag performance, meditation, fellowship, and community nonprofit partnerships.
We center trans and queer voices, affirm the sacredness of all identities, and bridge art, activism, and joy to create spaces of collective healing and celebration.
All faiths, no faith, and all identities are welcome.

🏩 Supporting Lambert House 🏩
Since 1981, Lambert House LGBTQ Youth Center has cared for, championed, and celebrated more than 15,000 LGBTQ+ youth through over 500,000 service contacts. Founded to address the physical and mental health disparities experienced by LGBTQ youth, Lambert House became the first community-based drop-in center for LGBTQ youth in the United States and has grown into a nationally respected model of care. Today, it remains Seattle’s LGBTQ youth center and the only social service agency in King County dedicated solely to supporting LGBTQ youth, serving young people ages 10–22 through both in-person and online programming.
Through evidence-based programs focused on connection, mentorship, resilience, leadership development, housing support, health education, and advocacy, Lambert House provides vital resources that help young people feel seen, safe, and supported. With a strong volunteer network and a reach that extends beyond the Pacific Northwest to youth across the U.S. and around the world, Lambert House continues to build a future where LGBTQ youth experience dignity, belonging, and equality in their families, schools, and communities.
🌼Supporting Little Wildflowers Cooperative Preschool 📚
Little Wildflowers Cooperative Preschool (LWCP) is a place where families can flourish. Our co-op model is a gentle introduction to the classroom where lifelong friendships are made. Parents and caregivers work alongside our teachers to provide an early childhood education in a safe, inclusive environment where social, emotional, and academic skills are learned through play. LWCP is a supportive, welcoming community to all families.
Our preschool, named by our beloved teachers Lauren Jensen and Naomi Sunderland, speaks of resilience and beauty no matter where you land. The name honors our focus on nature, builds upon our 35 years in Crown Hill, and holds space for a flourishing future — a place to bloom.
Little Wildflowers Cooperative Preschool (LWCP) is a member-run, non-profit preschool supporting early childhood development. LWCP is part of the North Seattle College network of cooperative preschools.
