The Homestead Golf & Sporting Clays Classic

Whether you are an avid golfer or a clay-shooting aficionado, this is one event you won't want to miss. Fire away at 18 stations of tournament sporting clays on Friday, followed by 18 holes of championship golf on Saturday. The top six two-person teams in the championship flight will advance to the Golf & Sporting Clays Shoot-Out.

TOURNAMENT FEE

• $850 per participant
• $1600 per team
• $225 social fee, which includes opening reception and awards reception and dinner

The tournament fee includes:

• Shooting and Golf clinics on Thursday
• Friday Reception
• Saturday awards reception and dinner
• 18 stations of tournament sporting clays
• 18 holes of golf on The Cascades Course
• Unlimited greens fees on The Cascades Course

SCHEDULE

THURSDAY, AUGUST 22

• Practice rounds for golf and sporting clays (available at a nominal fee)
• Free clinic for non-shooters
• Free clinic for non-golfers
• Dinner in any of our restaurants (advance reservations required)

FRIDAY, AUGUST 23

• First round – 18 stations of tournament sporting clays (ammunition provided)
• Reception
• Dinner in any of our restaurants (advance reservations required)

SATURDAY, AUGUST 24

• Second round – 18 holes of tournament golf on The Cascades Course followed by the top six two-person teams in a shoot-playoff
• Awards reception and dinner

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

CHAMPIONSHIP DIVISION

The top six teams in this division will advance to the 2024 Golf & Sporting Clays Shoot-Out. Handicaps will not be used in the championship division.

FLIGHTED DIVISION

The flights will be determined by sporting clays scores, and full handicaps will be used for golf. Awards will be presented in each flight.

SCORING

We will use the Stableford system for scoring the 2024 Golf & Sporting Clays tournament. Par for each hole on the course is set, and par for the sporting clays stations will be set to score comparable to the golf scores. One combined score will be used to determine the winners. The scoring points awarded in relation to a fixed score at each hole or station are as follows:

GOLF

• 2 over fixed par 0
• 1 over fixed par 1
• Fixed par 2
• 1 under fixed par 3
• 2 under fixed par 4

SPORTING CLAYS

• 2 over fixed par 4
• 1 over fixed par 3
• Fixed par 2
• 1 under fixed par 1
• 2 under fixed par 0
