The Kansas City Jazz Orchestra has rebranded and expanded! As we move into this new chapter, we're staying true to the exceptional jazz you know and love, but with a fresh look....and venue!
In addition to our long-time home at the Kauffman Center, our Signature Series will now include performances at the historic and recently renovated Folly Theater. We are delighted to bring exceptional jazz to an even wider audience.
Sharing the stage with us this season are artisans of the dialogue. Whether through voice, horn, or keyboard, our guest artists––Eboni Fondren, Lee Langston, Lisa Henry, John Beasley, Deborah Brown or Bobby Watson––are second to none.
This season, you can expect to hear artful arrangements of swinging standards, contemporary cutting-edge compositions, and a few surprises along the way. Join us in the conversation!
