Edmonds Pride Tea Party

Edmonds Pride is teaming up with the Edmonds Lutheran Church to bring together the LGBTQIA+ community in Edmonds for a fun afternoon full of tea, pastries, and community!

This event will feature our two Edmonds Pride X Treasures and Teas tea blends, along with some other traditional and kid friendly tea options. "Tea4Tea" is a white peony tea base, with butterfly pea flower and rose buds mixed in. "The Flower Code" is an herbal, chamomile based tea with hibiscus and lavender flowers. Both tea mixes will be available for purchase through the month of June at Treasures and Teas, with 20% of the profits donated to Edmonds Pride. Pastries are being generously donated by The Cottage Community Bakery and Zuri's Doughnuts!

What is included in your ticket?

• Pastries and other tea time snacks
• Tea (of course!)
• A photobooth with polaroids
• A reserved seat

What should I expect?

• There is no assigned seating! Each table has six seats. If you wish to sit with your friends or family, please arrive early and as a group. You will probably have to share your table.
• There is no dress code! We encourage folks to dress in whatever way makes them feel comfortable. Want to come in your fanciest dress? Go for it! Want to come in a hoodie and sweatpants? Also great!
• This is an all ages event. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied and monitored by a trusted adult.

Accessibility Information:

• There is a ramp that leads to the front door and no other steps once you are inside of the building.
• Service animals are of course welcome!
• Chairs can be easily moved to make room for wheelchairs or other mobility aids.
• It can get loud and echoey in the venue. If many people are talking at once it may be difficult to hear others, or potentially be overstimulating.
• If you need to take a break you are welcome to step outside or into a quieter part of the church.
• If you have any other accessibility concerns, questions, or needs, please reach out to the event organizers directly.

Food and Allergen Information:

• Dairy alternatives will be available.
• There will be a selection of gluten-free doughnuts available. They will be kept separate from the other pastries and labeled during the event.
• Allergen information will be available during the event, just flag down a volunteer if you have questions!
• Please be aware that the food provided at the event may contain, come into contact with, or be prepared in the same space as common allergens such as dairy, gluten, nuts, and other ingredients. While Edmonds Pride and our suppliers take steps to minimize risk, please be advised that cross contamination may occur, and we cannot guarantee that any food served at this event is 100% free from allergens.
