Kids College is most appropriate for kids from Kindergarten through 5th grade.

Class Descriptions

PLEASE NOTE: Your child will be placed in four of these classes and they will visit the same classes on both days.

You will be asked to indicate your top six class choices. We will work hard to get your children

into their top four class choices; however, that is not always possible with scheduling.

Therefore, sign up early!

1. Mystery Theatre

Do you love solving mysteries? In this class, there are mysteries to solve and we need young, bright minds to figure them out! Become a detective, to decipher the sleuthing clues and challenges as a team, while acting out parts of the mystery. You are sure to enjoy this unique experience.

2. Animal Exploration (CLASS IS AT FULL CAPACITY)

In this new class, we will be bringing animals on campus to meet you! Are you interested in learning about animal’s senses and how they understand the world around them? Then this is the class for you! Live animals will be presented in this class and an animal conservation expert will provide an unforgettable hands-on experience with multiple species of animals!

3. Fashionistas

Using special techniques taught by a professional make-up artist, you will learn the art of transforming each other into Hollywood-worthy characters, fairy princesses, wild animals, or zombies! You will also learn cool new hair techniques such as braids and quick updo options. 

4. Inventors Lab (CLASS IS AT FULL CAPACITY)

Find the inventor within you! Students will investigate how inventors work and make discoveries. You will engage in problem-solving, creative thinking, and collaboration through invention-based learning. You will even gain a glimpse into the world of inventors by using “Little Bits” kits (hands-on learning system that enables students to learn STEAM, then challenges them to apply these concepts to solve problems)!

5. Crafting 101

Are you ready to have “sew” much fun learning all about the techniques of sewing and other crafts? In this course, we will safely learn to complete a number of different stitches in order to complete the imaginable. We will also work with different textures and supplies, even CLAY, to design one of a kind art that you will take home.

6. Coding

Do you love technology or have a vivid imagination? Are you interested in figuring things out and how things work? Then you will enjoy our coding class where you will learn programming and basic coding concepts. You will even design and build your own codes and game!

7. Master Chef (CLASS IS AT FULL CAPACITY)

Let’s cook up some fun while learning the importance of measurement, timing and ingredients. Follow recipes and learn chef secrets from a pro! Don’t forget to wear an apron. You’ll start your own recipe collection, sure to wow your family or any company you are entertaining, in this delicious class!

8. Dessert Decorating (CLASS IS AT FULL CAPACITY)

Are you always asking to help in the kitchen? Make our classroom your kitchen and decorate away! Explore your expertise at decorating COOKIES and CUPCAKES, while learning some inventive, yummy ways to create edible designs! Things may get messy, so come prepared with appropriate clothing!

9. Lego Robotics (CLASS IS AT FULL CAPACITY)

Do you like to build things? Here you will have the opportunity to imagine, build, and program robots using Lego WeDo Kits! Robots are used in your everyday life…and now you have the power to create your own and see how they work! This adventure will have you exploring the fascinating world of robotics!

10. Weird and Wacky Science (CLASS IS AT FULL CAPACITY)

In this updated class, you will evaluate scientific observations and physical properties, while learning the scientific principles used to make a variety of interesting materials. You will load up with projects from your hands-on science experiments.
