This hands-on class covers the steps involved in beginner cheesemaking. Owner and cheesemaker of Caromont Farm, Gail Hobbs-Page will cover topics including milk chemistry, acid development and documentation, culturing, and curd formation. Students will learn how to make a few simple, farmhhouse cheeses. Afterwards, everyone will enjoy a shared cheese-centric bite and a round table discussion of the cheeses made that day.
