Current and Future Use of AI in the Healthcare Industry
Healthcare is an essential industry. It projected to hit $4.9 Trillion of spend in 2024. According to a 2019 study in JAMA, about 25% of the US healthcare budget is wasteful, which amounts to $760 billion to $935 billion of annual spend that does not improve the efficiency of the system to improve access or quality of care delivered.
We are entering a time where the capabilities of AI will be leveraged to improve how we care for individuals, improving rates of detection of disease, easing the effort of monitoring and managing populations of individuals with chronic disease, and will allow us to reimage the consumer experience.
In our session, we will discuss current and potential AI use cases, ideas to drive appropriate adoption, and potential business models.
Network with other entrepreneurs, students, faculty, staff, innovators, executives, and subject matter experts as well as develop new relationships and collaborations.
