SEM 2 Heartschool 8:30 AM Become a Backyard Naturalist! Grades 1-5

This is for the second-semester Heartschool course beginning Tuesday, January 14th.

Discover the habitat that is right outside your door and learn about the animals and plants that live in your backyard, neighborhood, or community. In this class, we will explore plants and animals through classification and taxonomy - learning to identify the living organisms that live in our local habitats. Semester 2 topics: • Aquatic Biomes • Features of ocean habitats • Vertebrate and Invertebrate animals that live in the ocean• Primary Focus: Fish, Marine Mammals, and Invertebrate animals commonly found in our coastal waters.
