Training Overview
Native Peacekeeper Consulting Group (NPKCG) proposes a customized Active Shooter Preparedness Training for the shared facilities at 6363 and 6365 Taft Street, serving employees of the Native Learning Center and the Executive Operations Office (EOO) of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. This training is designed to enhance individual readiness, strengthen organizational coordination, and support a safe, culturally respectful workplace environment.
Unlike generic awareness presentations, this program is site-specific, scenario-driven, and trauma-informed, relecting the actual building layouts, loor configurations, and shared-use dynamics of the facilities. The training emphasizes practical decision-making, communication, and accountability during high-stress incidents, while also addressing recovery and staff well-being.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Understand the realities and dynamics of active shooter and hostile intruder incidents
- Identify pre-incident behavioral indicators and environmental risk factors
- Apply decision-based response principles (Run, Hide, Fight) appropriate to their role and environment
- Make informed, timely decisions under stress
- Communicate and coordinate effectively during an incident
- Safely interact with responding law enforcement
- Understand post-incident recovery processes and available support resources
