09:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Greenacres Community Center Craft Room

2014 Calloway Drive, Bakersfield, CA 93312, USA

Registration window November 15, 10:00 a.m. -November 22, 7:00 p.m.

We are excited to welcome students to participate in pottery making! We will be joined by a professional pottery artist, and local vendor, Lollipots. Our artist will be teaching us how to make spring pottery! Students will use their hands and shaping tools to create a spring snail for your garden or window, with step by step directions from our instructor. Then, they will paint their finished projects. Finally, all projects will be kiln-fired off site. Finished projects will be ready for pick up 2-3 weeks after the field trip, just in time for spring display in your gardens at home!

Students will be able to use their creativity and get messy! Please dress for a mess or bring an apron. We look forward to seeing you there!

Pottery pick up will be at 7401 White Lane, Bakersfield, CA 93301 inside of Otto’s Video Game and More

An email will be sent when pottery is ready for pick up. This field trip is intended for students in third grade and up.

Ticket cost:

  • Students grades 3 and up are $35.00
  • Chaperones are free and will not be doing the project

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
