**SOLD OUT** Evaluating Saddle Fit - Dr Anne Bondi, Saddle Research Trust

This important professional saddle fit checking webinar will be hosted by the MSFC Society and is aimed at Saddle Fitters, Veterinarians, Equine Therapists, Equitation Coaches, trainers and competition riders as well as horse owners.

Dr Anne Bondi, Director of the Saddle Research Trust, will be discussing her recent highly informative paper "Evaluating the suitability of an English saddle for a horse and rider combination”, which was published in the peer-reviewed journal Equine Veterinary Education in 2019, and was co-authored by Dr Sue Dyson together with Sue Norton and Laurence Pearman from the Society of Master Saddlers.

Dr Anne Bondi will present this evidence-based, comprehensive paper which describes an in-depth, systematic protocol for the evaluation of the saddle, the horse and the rider.

The protocol includes evaluation of: 

• Conformation 

• Functional design of the saddle, including the tree and panel 

• Use of accessories such as pads and girths 

• Ridden assessment. 

There will be a live question and answer opportunity following the presentation.
