2022 MSK VIRTUAL 5K/1K RUN/WALK

We invite you to participate in the MSK Virtual 5k Run/Walk. This year we have added a 1k Run/Walk for children age 10 and under! The proceeds from this event will be used to provide funding for education grants, scholarships, and other philanthropic opportunities for our organization. These scholarships will financially support women and aspiring female college students, toward books and tuition at accredited colleges, universities, or professional certification programs. 

The Virtual 5k and 1k Run/Walk will take place the weekend of August 26th through August 28th.

MSK 5k/1k Run/Walk, Waiver & Release Form

By registering for the My Sister's Keepers Foundation for Women (MSK) 5K/1K Run/Walk I agree to the following waiver and release.

I acknowledge that my participation in the MSK 5k/1K Run/Walk involves a risk of injury, including bodily injury, and assume the risk for same. On my own behalf and on behalf of my heirs and legal representatives and to the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release and discharge MSK Foundation and their respective directors, officers, employees, affiliates, members, agents and representatives, of and from any and all liability for injury, death, or damages and/or any other claims, demands, losses or damages, incurred by me in connection with any aspect of the 5k/1k Run/Walk.

I hereby grant and authorize MSK Foundation and its’ affiliates the right to take, edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all pictures or video taken of me to be used in and/or for any lawful promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, annual reports, press kits and submissions to journalists, websites, social networking sites and other print and digital communications, without payment or any other consideration. 

This authorization extends to all languages, media, formats and markets now known or later discovered.

This authorization shall continue indefinitely unless I otherwise revoke this authorization in writing.

I waive the right to inspect or approve any finished product in which my likeness appears, including written or electronic copy.

I agree that I have not been compensated for this use of my likeness or have otherwise agreed to this release without being compensated. I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photograph.
