Bread and roses? This time of year, we demand hamentashen* too!
You're invited to a Purim celebration and love letter to our unions with a celebration at Peabody Heights Brewing March 23.
Come to agitate, educate, organize, and most importantly, party with your favorite Baltimore Justice Shtiebl. There will be a raucous Purim shpiel (farcical and absurdist retelling of the story of Esther), klezmer dancing, and DJ sets. Come in costume--on our solidarity forever theme, or whatever makes you feel powerful.
Bring a friend, roommate, family member, crush, frenemy, all are welcome!
All ages welcome, but you must be 21+ to drink. Peabody Heights has graciously offered to donate 15% of bar proceeds to Hinenu, so keep the drinks flowing if thats what you're into!
$10-$20 sliding scale. Buy your tickets in advance, or at the door (we have space for everyone this year!) ***Please note that admission is $10 but a processing fee is added, which is reflected in the price shown for each ticket.
Member of a union? Get $5 off at the door!
