Lollipots Ceramics: Plant Pot-Heartland Charter School

Lollipots is bringing Heartland students a fun ceramic hand-building experience! Students will be creating an adorable Plant Pot! This hands-on class is great for all levels from TK-12th grade! Students will create their clay project during session time. After class, it will be kiln fired by the instructor (off site). 1st bisque fire, glaze applied, then final fire. This process takes approximately 2-3 weeks. Mrs. Harl will contact you when the project is ready for pick up. Your finished project will be picked up from: Lollipots Ceramics 7401 White Lane, Bakersfield Ca, 93309 (Inside Otto’s Game Store).

Ticket cost:

• Students grades TK and up are $35.00
• Chaperones are free and will not be doing the project

Heartland events are designed for families to attend together. Students need to be accompanied by an adult chaperone. If your student will be attending with another family, please email the field trip host to let them know once you complete your registration. Chaperones must be the legal parent or 25 years and older. All chaperones must be healthy, ethical people with the skills to be responsible adult chaperones.

Refunds will not be given for any reason. As a courtesy, if you are sick or unable to attend a field trip, please contact the teacher, who planned the event to let them know so they do not wait at the venue for you.* Families who are no-shows may lose access to future field trips.*

May I pay using my student's planning amount? Yes! You can pay for your student's ticket with your student's planning amount. There are two steps to purchase tickets for field trips with your student's planning amount.

Step 1. Reserve your ticket on Ticketbud. Please select the "Student ticket paid with planning amounts through Procurify" ticket option on Ticketbud. Complete the checkout process on Ticketbud. You will receive an email confirmation from Ticketbud once your order is complete. (If you do not receive an email please check your Spam folder.) This is the first step in reserving your tickets. Immediately after you receive confirmation from Ticketbud, you will move to step 2.

Step 2. Place an order for your tickets in Procurify. Search the name of this field trip in the Procurify catalog and complete your order just like you would for any other order. Your spot on this field trip will not be confirmed until you have placed your order in Procurify. Failure to place an order in Procurify within three days will result in being removed from the attendee list and having your funds manually deducted.

What are the check-in procedures? Families will meet Mrs. Harl inside of the Green Acres Community Center at 10:45 a.m.

Does this trip have any grade or age restrictions? This field trip is for students who are in grades TK and up. Younger siblings are not allowed to attend due to limited space. Only one chaperone per family is allowed due to limited space. If you purchase tickets for children who are not yet in TK you will not be given a refund. Each person who attends a field trip or event must be registered through Ticketbud

Is there on-site parking available? The facility is a NOR community center with free parking.

Can we pack snacks or lunch for this event or field trip? Water is okay. Please, no food.
