SEM 2 Heartschool 8:30 AM Writing from the Map (Thinking Maps) 3rd-5th grad

This is for the second-semester Heartschool course beginning Tuesday, January 14th.

We will read through Beautiful Feet - Around the World with Picture Books Part 2. Students will take notes on a Circle Map while I read, identify a thinking process for the book, complete a Thinking Map, write well-structured paragraphs from the Thinking Map, have the opportunity to share their writing in class and participate in the revising and editing process. Students should have paper and writing supplies ready each day. Access to Google Docs is very helpful, but not required. Students may be able to use completed work as work samples as we will often do subject-based reading each learning period.
