With Survivors Always Fundraiser Concert

Our city has around 3,000 reported cases of domestic violence annually. Nationally, the National Institute of Justice estimates that more than half of all violent victimizations are not reported to law enforcement. In Shreveport, many cases go unreported due to fear of retaliation, financial reliance on the abuser, or distrust in the system. There are a couple non profit organizations in Shreveport that help victims of domestic violence. We want to help those organizations raise money for their missions. The way we do things in NEP is through live music. So we wanted to create a concert, that can be held annually, to help raise money for these organizations. So we have created the With Survivors Always Concert. We will be holding this event every year in the fall. 

Our first one will be Friday September 11th at Fondren’s Classic Cars & Guitars  

Our headline act is one of the fastest rising, rock bands in the nation PLUSH!! Coming with them is another band that is making their names known @Major Moment. We have 2 local Ark-La-Tex bands starting the night off Sleep Juliet (East Texas ) and Embrace the Filth (Shreveport). 

Advanced tickets are on sale now for $25+ credit card fee online (Advanced sales end at 11:59 pm September 10th). Day of show tickets are $30 at the door.

Plush is a rock band dedicated to bringing rock music back to the forefront of the industry. The band is made up of talented young woman, ages 21 to 24, whose skill and accomplishments far exceed their youth. The lineup features singer, songwriter, producer and guitarist Moriah Formica, bassist and back up vocalist Ashley Suppa, and drummer Faith Powell.

Plush has 4 Billboard Top 40 Mainstream songs to their credit in “Hate” “Better Off Alone” “Left Behind” and “Run”. The band has been captivating audiences across the United States and abroad with their electrifying live performances supporting renowned acts like Disturbed, KISS, Alice in Chains, Evanescence, Daughtry and Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. They have also graced the stages of several major festivals including, Welcome to Rockville, Louder Than Life, Sonic Temple and Rocklahoma. They have also played several shows for our Armed Forces both in the United States and abroad.

Their latest single, “Why”, was released on June 20, 2025 and was co-written by Moriah Formica and David Draiman and co-produced by Moriah, David and Grammy nominated producer Johnny K.
